Refund Policy
We want PlanCourt to earn your trust. This policy explains what happens when you ask for your money back.
1. Wallet top-ups
Unused wallet balance never expires. Top-ups are refundable in full if none of the purchased cents have been consumed. If some have been consumed, the unused cents are refunded pro-rata (a $25 top-up is 2500 cents, so 500 cents used is 20% used and 80% refunded).
2. Subscriptions (Team)
- You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Within 14 days of a first charge, we'll refund it in full on request if you have not meaningfully used the service since that charge.
- After 14 days, we'll refund the unused portion of a prepaid period pro-rata on request.
3. Failed or errored runs
Managed runs debit the wallet only when a review completes. The reserved hold is returned to your balance automatically when a run never begins, when it fails before producing a report, or when it finishes with incomplete review coverage — that is, when a reviewer or the lead reviewer failed and the report says so. A reviewer failure is ours to absorb, not yours.
A run that completes a normal review is not refundable, whether it ends READY, READY WITH CHANGES or REVISE FIRST. If you believe a result was unusable for another reason, contact us and we'll make it right.
4. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the email on your account and a short note. We respond within two business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Paddle and may take a few business days to appear.
